Tracy M.L. Brown, PMP, CSM
Tracy Brown is a Project Manager for Noblis, a non-profit science and engineering company in Washington, DC. In this capacity Ms. Brown manages a $13M program for a federal government client providing business process reengineering, requirements elicitation, Agile software development planning, governance, training, communications, and organizational change management support. She previously supported the U.S. Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, as part of the Department of State’s President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). She has also worked with other federal agencies and state and local law enforcement and corrections organizations in developing IT systems.
Prior to joining Noblis in 2005 she worked for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) for 10 years where she supported contracts for federal law enforcement and U.S. Army programs. She has worked in IT and systems engineering for more than 18 years bringing client’s system needs to fruition.
Ms. Brown holds a BS in Political Science from Texas Christian University, where she minored in Criminal Justice. She is a Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.
She began volunteering for the Histiocytosis Association in 2006 when her son Ian was diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis. She and her husband Ryan have hosted the Histio Hike – Shenandoah since 2010. Ms. Brown looks forward to expanding her involvement in the Histiocytosis Association through her new role as a Board Trustee.
